American comic Kathy Griffin has claimed that male comics are “pigs” and engaged in very inappropriate behavior at parties in the nineties.
The 62-year-old is one of the most well-known female comedians in the US and has recently reflected on her career.
The star lifted the lid on the behavior of male comics at parties in the nineties saying that they often exposed their genitalia.

Kathy told Page Six: “I’ve been at every party back in the day when they’d be like, ‘Kat, Look! My penis is a wristwatch. I’m like, ‘Yes, I get it. We’ve seen it again.
“Guy comics are pigs. They’re all pigs. I’ve been around a long time. I’ve seen all their penises.”

She continued to the outlet: “That was like a big joke in my day where one of the guys would grab you and pretend like he was like, butt f***ing you. And it happened to all of us.
The star used Pete Davidson as an example saying that Hollywood bombshells swooning over him encourages the behaviour.
She explained that men who are not “conventionally attractive” being able to bag a woman “that is too hot for them” causes other comics to “lose their minds.”

However, Kathy noted that her feelings towards Pete were “from pure bitterness” as she doesn’t have any representation at the moment.
Kathy has had a difficult few years after being diagnosed with stage one lung cancer.
However, at the end of 2021, she was officially cancer free following a surgery on her lung.
The star once told The Jimmy Kimmel show that a doctor had joked that her lung would look like a “used condom” after the surgery and said she could use that line in her stand-up comedy routine.

She explained: “Here’s the thing when you’re a comic, it’s horrible when the doctors want to do their material on you
“So I go in, and he’s describing how they take half your lung out, and he goes, ‘It’s kind of like a balloon.
“So we do it laparoscopically, and we poke it.’ And then he goes, ‘And when we take it out, it kind of looks like a used condom.’ And then he goes, ‘You can use that.’ And I just did – and insurance covered it…”
