ITV’s The Chase turned frosty on Monday (July 17) after host Bradley Walsh made a cheeky dig at chaser Shaun Wallace.
Four new players took their chances against the quizmaster in a bid to bag a cash prize on the latest episode.
As Shaun took on the wannabe winners, he appeared to be having a bad day as he offered up some poor answers and allowed the contestants to soar through to the final chase with ease.

One question in particular caused Bradley to make a dig at the star, after he answered “whippets” to a question about a George Orwell book that referred to a myth that the working class kept what in the bath.”
Brad shamed Shaun for his ridiculous answer, before then saying: “I tell you now he’s got the raving hump.”
The dig continued as Shaun gave him a stark answer to a question, with Brad saying: “He’s having a proper go at me today isn’t he coz I called him out about the wippets question. He’s having a right go at me.”
When Shaun answered a question correctly later in the round, Brad again quipped: “He means business all of sudden.”
One fan chimed in on ther frosty exchange, saying: “Shaun is a lot clever than you Brad.”
“Why doesn’t Brad take the piss out of Paul (Sinha) when he comes out with a daft answer. as he does with Shaun?”
Fans had mixed reactions to Shaun’s performance with some saying the star has been on a losing streak and should retire from the show altogether.

Twon, John, Kelly and Beau all managed to make it through to the final chase with £13k in the bank scoring an impressive score of 20 after showing off some impressive team work.
Shaun impressively managed to catch the foursome by answering 20 questions with less than a second remaining.
Shaun made a final remark on the whippet exchange as he signed off, saying: “Whippets this whippets that.
“But guess what it’s just another day the office. Look at their faces”.
