Love Island fans were left utterly bewildered on Monday’s episode (July 17) after Mitchell Taylor made a savage move during the latest challenge.
As the contestants lined up to play snog, marry, pie and reveal some of their true feelings for one another, Mitch blew fans away after deciding to pie his former beau, Abi Rawlings.
Just moments earlier, he had vowed to win her back and told her wasn’t feeling it with new partner, Ella B.

But after a momentary change of heart, he smashed her in the face with a pie – leaving both the islanders and fans at home in total disbelief.

“If I was Abi I’d never speak to Mitch again for the rest of my days,” said one fan.
“Me literally wanting to punch Mitch through the screen,” penned a second.
“Trying to understand Mitch can result in a brain aneurysm,” a third added, while a fourth said: “Mitch pieing Abi is soo funny that guy is insane , she deserved it though.”

Meanwhile, golden couple Molly Marsh and Zachariah Noble were on the rocks after Zach chose to snog ex beau Kady McDermott in the challenge.
Molly was immediately horrified, turning her back to them as they snogged.
Kady then reciprocated the kiss by planting a smooch on him during her turn in the game.
The awkward moment left Molly pondering the strength of her connection with the basketball player, 26, and she later confronts him.

In tears, 21-year-old Molly emotionally declared that there was “no one else” in the villa she would want to kiss.
Taking to Twitter, fans shared their theories that this would be the duo’s “downfall” after weeks of seemingly plain-sailing in the villa.
