Will Smith ‘in tears’ after Jamie Foxx says he went ‘to hell and back’ in health battle

Jamie Foxx opened up on his gruelling health battle which has seen him faced many challenges over the past few months.

In his first post addressing the battle he faced, Jamie explained to his followers about the trials he’s been hit with while focusing on his recovery and being on the mend.

The star, who said he went to “hell and back” and added that his recovery was hit with some struggles as well, was inundated with support from a lot of his celebrity pals.

Jamie shared a post giving the latest information on his health and wrote: “Thank you a billion to everybody… been a long road but all the prayers great people and God got me through.”

Foxx was then immediately hit with love from his pals, with Will Smith writing: “Awww man!! Who’s cuttin’ onions?? Love U Foxx!! Your light if needed ‘n appreciated right now!”

While The Rock wrote: “I’m gonna bear hug the f**k outta you when I see you again.”

Michael B Jordan said: “I love you brother!!”, while Viola Davis added: “God is GOOD!!!! Sending love Jamie.”

Jamie’s updates came as he paid tribute to his sister Deidra Dixon and daughter Corinne, who he said “saved his life” as he thanked his family for their discretion with his health.

Speaking in a clip posted to his feed, he said: “I cannot tell you how great it feels to have your family kick in in such a way, and y’all know they kept it airtight, they didn’t let nothing out. They protected me, and that’s what I hope that everyone could have in moments like these.”

He didn’t explain what had happened in the past few months, but said he went to “hell and back”, adding: My road to recovery had some potholes as well, but I’m coming back and I’m able to work, so I want to thank the people who let me work, and I just want to say that I love everybody and I love all the love that I got.”

In April it was revealed he had been hospitalised in Atlanta after a medical complication.

His daughter Corinne said at the time that due to quick action he was on his way to recovery, but asked for privacy as they gave him support.
