Emmerdale star Kelli Hollis has embarked on a hugely different career after quitting acting – revealing she now runs a “weed bar.”
The soap star, 47, shot to fame playing Ali Spencer, mum of Sean and Amelia, in the long-running ITV soap between 2011 and 2015.
The character left the soap to move away to Liverpool, but in 2018 Ali was killed off-screen in a car accident.

Despite bagging roles in Channel 4 films and the smash hit show Shameless after her Emmerdale stint, Kelli decided to leave the acting world for good.
And now, eight years since her last appearance in the famous Dales, Kelli is now living in Thailand after she took a left turn in her career.
She now runs a “weed bar” called La Choza Pratumnak in the out there, where marijuana is legal for personal use.
Kelli left the UK over a year ago and has been focusing on her new business ever since, while sharing her success on social media.
She regularly uploads her TikTok with videos of her celebrating her new business venture that she runs with her partner Martin.
The star can be seen hosting parties for people to come and dance in the bar, while taking cannabis.
Kelli previously spoke about her change in career during an interview with LeedsLive where she revealed she’d been on holiday to the area a “few times” and did some “island hopping”.
The star eventually found a “really cute little shop” and struck up a good friendship with the owner.

As a result, Kelli revealed she’d “decided to basically set up our own weed shop”.
“I’ll be honest I’ve smoked weed since I was about 15 but I’m not a hard-core weed smoker,” she joked.
“I can’t do full joints and edibles and all that so it probably bodes well or I’d probably smoke all the profits!”
Kelli then added: “It’s definitely not something I envisaged but we’ve definitely made the right choice.”
