Emily Atack almost unrecognisable as she transforms into 80s icon for new Disney series

Emily Atack went back to the 80’s as she shot scenes for her upcoming project.

She donned the retro attire as she was spotted filming a red carpet TV awards scene scenes for the new Disney+ series, Rivals, in Bristol.

The former I’m A Celebrity star was seen wearing a flashy gold corset dress with a flowy black skirt with matching gold leaf embroidery.

Emily, 33, looked absolutely stunning as she wore her hair tied up in tight curls as she took part in filming outside a Bristol city centre hotel.

She plays the role of Sarah Stratton in the upcoming streaming series and will also star alongside Poldark actor Aidan Turner, 40.

The actress and comedian glammed up to the full as she strutted around set in gold heel shoes whilst she sported a bold red lip.

The star was was joined on set by star of the hit Netflix series The Crown, Oliver Chris who looked to be her love interest in the show.

David Tennant was also spotted looking suave on set as he joined his fellow cast members in a smart black suit with a black bow tie whilst his long brunette hair was swept to the side.

It’s is based off the famous 1988 novel of the same name which was written by acclaimed author Jilly Cooper.

The eight-part drama programme will tell the story of the rivalry between Rupert Campbell-Black (played by Alex Hassell) and Lord Tony Baddingham (played by David Tennant).

Set in the fictional English county of Rutshire, the pair have a legendary rivalry which seeps into the world of the Corinium television station.

The series will see Sarah marrying Paul (played by Rufus Jones) before spending time with another lover James, played by Oliver Chris.

Emily’s new role comes after she admitted she was still keen on the sexy roles, despite cruel trolling.

She told The Mirror : “I am cheeky, I am flirty… I still want to play sexy roles.

“I should be able to do that without the sexual harassment and abuse.”
