Sex and The City author Candace Bushnell dated two men aged 21 and 91 at same time

Caroline Bushnell the author of the iconic series Sex and the City has admitted that she is a bit closer in personality to her characters that she might like.

Sex And The City is a hit tv show that started out as Caroline’s column in the a New York Observer about her dating escapades.

Her articles were turned into the Sex and the City anthology book series and the book then birthed the incredible HBO TV series that ran for six successful seasons.

Fans instantly fell in love with the characters Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), Miranda Hobbs (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte York (Kristin Davis) and they related to their dating problems.

Caroline has admitted that she had a pretty hectic love life in her youth, much like her characters.

The author told Us Weekly: “You know, I have so many crazy dating adventures. I mean, one week I dated a guy who was 21 and a guy who was 91.

“Nobody tells you this is gonna happen. Like, that the age range is going to be 60 years.”

Comparing herself to Carrie, the lead character Caroline said: “‘I didn’t marry Mr. Big. But I’m single again. I’m dating, I have been for a while.

“And I’m always working and coming up with new ideas. I’m about being your own Mr. Big as I like to say.’

This comes after last month when it was announced that the beloved character of Samantha will be making a cameo appearance on the spin-off show.

This is despite the explosive feud between Kim and co-star Sarah Jessica Parker.

According to Variety, the star will return for one “cliffhanger” scene and which was shot in New York without her speaking to her old co-stars Sarah, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis.

According to the outlet in the scene Samantha, who has moved to London in the show, will be having a phone conversation with Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker.)

The New York Post also revealed that Cattrall’s cameo was so secretive that her name did not even appear on the call sheet for the day, leaving people stunned to see her on set.
