Love Island Belle Hassan had sexy lingerie confiscated by bosses because of strict rule

Former Love Island star Belle Hassan has warned future Islanders which wardrobe must-have items are banned in the ITV villa.

Loyal fans of the hugely popular dating show will remember the blonde bombshell from her time on the fifth series back in 2019 alongside Molly-Mae Hague, Tommy Fury, Amber Gill and Maura Higgins.

Throughout her time on the show, the makeup artist fell for Scottish hunk Anton Danyluk when she entered the villa as a Casa Amor bombshell.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star, the reality star warned future contestants against bringing valuable items with them because they may not get them back from ITV bosses.

She told us: “I remember when they go through your stuff they ask you if you’ve got anything branded and they took my Victoria Secret pyjama shorts off me because they had Victoria Secret written around the band.

“They were so nice, they were so sexy, I was like, ‘This is for me’ and then year they were like, ‘You can’t wear those in there because they’re branded.’

The makeup professional explained that the Islanders banded together like a “sisterhood” and shared “anything you can think of” during their stay.

Belle went on: “When I was in the villa, we definitely shared clothes I mean, there’s a lot of clothes that I definitely never got back and some clothes that were borrowed to me that I’ve probably still got in the wardrobe that I’ve yet to give back to the girls.

“But yeah, we shared shoes, we shared makeup and as you can imagine everyone was in and out of my bloody Bobbi Brown face, everyone was always on that. “We shared makeup, shoes, clothes, dresses, hair products.

“Everything you can think of we all shared, we were like a sisterhood in there,” she concluded.

It comes after Belle was announced as Superdrug’s new brand ambassador who is fronting a new campaign titled ‘Search for Studio Stars’ which will discover and propel 10 creative talents within the cosmetics industry.

She gushed: “I am so grateful that Superdrug approached me for this campaign, as I think the cosmetics industry needs and deserves some time in the spotlight.

“Makeup artistry has given me so much opportunity, enabled me to work with such an amazing community and given me the confidence to branch out and build my own social brand.

“Yet nobody presented it to me as a viable career path and many times since, I’ve seen it dismissed as a frivolous choice or reduced to a stereotype.
