Geordie Shore star shows off transformation as she celebrates one year sober

A former star of the reality show Geordie Shore has showed off her stunning new lifestyle as she celebrated reaching an important milestone.

Faith Mullen showed off her new look after taking to Instagram to give an insight into her journey with weight loss and sobriety.

Mullen, 23, posted a series of clips from her time on the MTV reality show based in Newcastle, when she would get up to a variety of drunken escapades.

She also shared a video of her drinking directly from the neck of a bottle of wine.

At the time, Geordie gal was the newest addition to the party show, but was cut after just one season.

Another clip she uploaded included her stint on the BBC show Go Hard or Go Home, which BBC Three described as an “adrenalin-fuelled fitness challenge series”.

In the video, the former TV star admitted: “My experience has completely revolutionised my life. I’ve lost three stone and I’m six months sober”.

But six months from that clip, Mullen is looking better than ever.

Faith wrote on her Instagram post: “12 months ago today, I woke up and knew if I didn’t change and get help that day I probably wasn’t going to be around much longer”.

Mullen added that drinking was ruining her life, destroying relationships, friendships and even affecting her career. Her mental health took a massive toll – eventually resorting to self-harming, despite going to therapy.

“Even at my worst, I don’t think many knew how bad it really got,” she admitted.

She later recounted when she attended an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, “still off my face”, but she was welcomed and faced no judgement.

Since then, Faith has reconnected to Christianity, ditching her party lifestyle to focus on her relationship with God.

Speaking to The Sun’s Bizarre column, Faith detailed her religious beliefs, saying she wanted to disprove the stereotype that Christian girls are boring.

“You don’t have to be boring and do nothing, you can party as much as possible,” she quipped.

But the star shocked fans she vomited on herself in bed after a chaotic night on the town in Blackpool.
