Kate Beckinsale cheekily jokes ‘just the tip’ as she holds banana in saucy video

Kate Beckinsale has left fans confused after uploading a video to her Instagram account.

The actress, 50, shared a video of her learning how to use a piece of nursing equipment when she made a cheeky remark.

She was being guided how to attach a conveen to a penis, using a banana as an example.

Conveens are used like catheters that help people who are sick go to the loo. But instead of a tube that is inserted into the penis, the conveen is worn on the outside like a condom.

The Emma star was being taught by friend Craig Minton when she filmed her attempting to put the conveen onto the fruit.

The video was captioned by the Van Helsing actress: “Ok nursing school with @craigminton_”.

Clearly inquisitive, she asked several questions throughout the video, trying to get the equipment to work.

“Do I attach the bag here? Oh no!” she joked. “How far on do I have to get it?”

“That looks like it could blow,” she continued before shooting off at Minton who tried to assist her – “I haven’t done a good job; don’t help me!”

She then proceeded to put the sticky apparatus on the banana, shocked at how the equipment can fit around the fruit.

“Oh it’s short!” she said. Minton replied: “Yeah, it’s all you need – it just needs to go on the tip”.

Beckinsale then cheekily turned to her pal and quipped – “Just the tip there. Welcome to my family, just the tip”.

Fans were confused by Beckinsale’s video, with many saying it was full of saucy innuendos.

One user commented under the video: “I have no idea what this is for but looks like a fun time lol”.

Another joked saying there were “so many ‘that’s what she said’ moments” in the video, whilst a third wrote: “Oddly erotic lol … voice, gestures, words, accent, mannerisms… Kate, you win today hahahaha”.

Whilst another commenter, who works as a nurse, admitted: “The fact I know EXACTLY what this is has me crying! Welcome to the life of a urology nurse”.
