ITV GMB’s Ranvir Singh opens up about ‘big no no’ house rule for her London home

Good Morning Britain presenter and news anchor Ranvir Singh has revealed a strict rule for her London home.

The presenter, 45, was hosting Thursday’s edition of the ITV morning news program with Ben Shephard when she opened up about her living habits.

She made her admission during a debate about the breeding and sale of British bulldogs.

The breed, alongside pugs have skyrocketed in popularity, with the number of Brits that own the breeds going up by nearly 500% since 2000.

Some of the most high-profile fans of pugs include football legend David Beckham and pin-up Kelly Brook.

But despite being an iconic symbol of Britain, the breed of pooch has been branded irresponsible by animal rights charity PETA.

This is due to the fact that flat-faced dogs such as British bulldogs and pugs are more likely to suffer from health issues.

Dogs such as French bulldogs and pugs are statistically 54 times more likely to develop breathing conditions, and are over twice as likely to become obese.

Other issues that these breeds could face include infertility or inability to give birth naturally.

Ranvir and Ben helped to mediate the debate between a PETA representative and the owner of a bulldog, named Loki.

Whilst the guests heavily debated the morality of deliberately breeding dogs with health issues, Loki was cosied up sitting on the sofa.

Shephard, 48, pointed out that Loki was “uninterested in the debate”, which led Ranvir to reveal her strict order.

“Thank you to Loki who really is enjoying sitting on our sofa,” she said.

“Now, Loki – if you came into my house … Loki is not, you can’t have dogs on furniture in my house. It’s a big no no”.

Singh lives in the Chilterns in north west London with her son, Tushaan.

Her pad is a sleek and chic crib with brilliant white walls with classy wooden flooring.

With her modern-styled home and clean lines, it is understandable that Loki would not be allowed on her sofa.
