BBC star Nick Knowles is preparing for his third wedding after proposing to his girlfriend Katie Dadzie, who is 27 years his junior.
The DIY SOS presenter, 60, reportedly popped the question to 33-year-old Katie last month while filming in America.
A source told The Sun: “They are so in love and absolutely adore each other. Katie is over the moon that Nick popped the question.”

The couple have been together since 2021 after meeting through Nick’s eight-year-old son, who befriended Katie’s two children at a play centre.

Earlier this year, Katie defended the 27-year age gap between her and her fiancé, explaining it works well because neither of them act their age.
“Nick has a Peter Pan complex, he doesn’t act the age he is at all,” the brunette bombshell told The Sun on Sunday.
She continued: “He is like a teenage boy and has so much energy. I also act a bit older, so it works out.
“We’re really happy and support each other with kids and our work lives. He’s a really lovely person”.
Katie went on to say: “We have separate homes, which I think works for our relationship”.
While Nick also defended their relationship after Katie was branded a “gold digger” by internet trolls.
Hitting back, he angrily told his followers that his partner was “more successful” than him, revealing she runs three businesses.

He tweeted: I’m raging. The woman I was out to dinner with when we were papped is 32, has degrees in two subjects, runs 3 businesses, is a mother of 2, is wealthier & more successful than me & is intelligent & independent unlike the abusive trolls attacking her.”
Nick shares daughter Tuesday and son Charlie with his ex-wife Gillian, who he was married to from 1995 until 2000.
He also shares son, TJ, with dancer Paula Beckett.
Nick welcomed his youngest son Eddie during his marriage to ex-wife Jessica Rose Moor, who he split with in 2016 after four years of marriage.
