Paedophile singer Ian Watkins was reportedly rushed to hospital after being stabbed by fellow inmates.
The disgraced rockstar, who is serving a 29-year sentence for multiple sex offences, including crimes against young children and babies, was allegedly ambushed by three other prisoners at HMP Wakefield prison.
And it’s claimed the convicted sex offender has been left fighting for his life and is receiving life-saving treatment.

It’s claimed Watkins, 46, was dragged into a cell and “roughed up” by the inmates during the jail attack before a ‘Tornado’ team of riot officers threw stun stun grenades into the cell and rescued him.
According to The Sun, the singer was found with stab wounds, with one source alleging he’s been stabbed in the neck and taken in for life-saving treatment at Leeds General Infirmary.
A source said: “Watkins was attacked today by three pretty heavy-duty cons.
“They got hold of him on B-wing and dragged him into a cell where they roughed him up and barricaded themselves in.
“He was screaming and was obviously terrified and in fear of his life. They put the whole wing on lockdown and then sent in riot teams.
“Other prisoners heard three loud flash bangs which was when the officers got into the cell and threw grenades to stun the attackers and take them by surprise.”
The source also claimed that “unpopular” Watkins was attacked on Saturday (August 5) and that he’d been walking around with a “target on his back”.
It’s been reported that police are investigating the attack and that the three inmates have been arrested.
According to The Mirror, Watkins was taken hostage by the three inmates shortly after 9am on Saturday morning and witnesses said paramedics worked to save his life in an ambulance outside the prison.
A Prison Service spokesperson said: “Police are investigating an incident which took place on Saturday at HMP Wakefield. We are unable to comment further while the police investigate.”
A source told The Mirror: “He was found by officers after being held hostage and battered on Saturday morning. He’s in a life-threatening condition and there are fears he could die. If he survives, he’ll have been very lucky.”
