Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch stars Tim Lovejoy and Simon Rimmer were forced to say sorry after a guest was left unimpressed.
The show got off to an awkward start as they welcomed Slipknot musician Corey Taylor onto the show, who has just arrived in London.
Kicking things off, Tim asked: “Corey, you flew in this morning didn’t you, from LA?”
Corey replied: “I literally just landed an hour ago, from Philly though, so slightly shorter.”
Tim joked: “I’ve never been to Philly before, but I’ve heard they do a lovely spread.”
As a groan went round the room, Corey rolled his eyes as he replied: “Come on man, it’s too early for that.”
Tim quickly said to the camera: “It doesn’t get any better than that,” as Simon intervened and said: “I really apologise for that.”
Tim asked Corey: “I’ve really done wrong there haven’t I?” Who responded: “You really did.”
The hosts then asked Corey if he had brought them anything from his journey to which he said: “Yes based on that joke, I want to you to enjoy every drop of that.
Tim and Simon then opened the duty free bag to pull out a single banana as the pair quickly moved on with the rest of the show.
But unfortunately, Tim suffered another blunder as he accidentally poured an enormous quantity of vinegar on his hand in an experiment gone wrong.
Corey watched on and laughed as Tim tried to work out what to do with the pungent liquid, before attempting to suck all of it in one go.
He told the guests: “It’s really good,” as they rushed to pass him a tissue to try and stop him from having to lick up all of the liquid live on air.
Tim eventually managed to finish off the whole thing, but looked worse for wear as he tried to digest.
