Below Deck’s captain has thanked the TV crew for “breaking the fourth wall” as two stars have been fired from the show.
Captain Jason Chambers took to Instagram to thank the crew following the recent episode that aired earlier this week.
On the latest episode of the reality show, bosun Luke Jones was let go after he climbed into stewardess Margot Sisson’s bed naked “without consent”, while she was fast asleep in her underwear.

After Luke was sacked, second stew Laura Bileskalne’s reaction to the incident also led to her getting let go by Captain Jason after she insisted he wasn’t to blame.
An emotional Captain Jason posted a short video on the social media platform, expressing his gratitude to those who stepped in, saying: “Hi everybody. I’m sure you’re digesting episodes six and seven, as I am.
“I’ve had a flood of messages over the last 24 hours from people in similar situations, some not so lucky of the outcome, so my heart goes out to them.
“I’d like to thank the production team for breaking the fourth wall and stepping in, then reforming and allowing Aesha to come to me in an authentic manner and us dealing with it as we would as captain and crew.
“I don’t know what goes on when crew go out, I’m not told. If it’s inadequate behaviour you’ve seen that production would step in for me but unless a crew member complains of anything, like Adam, I wouldn’t know.
“As soon as Aesha brought it to my attention, I addressed it straight away. So it’s real, it’s real time.
“Look this happened over a year ago and again I’ll stress the people involved are all hopefully on a better journey to better themselves.
“And less hate please, more love. But let’s send it home and know that this is not acceptable. Thank you very much.”
He captioned the post: “Thank you for all the lovely messages and I have great sympathy for the messages for those that were triggered by these episodes.
“I applaud the production team and crew, and I sincerely hope that all parties involved use this time to reflect and use this opportunity to not only change, but help others.
“Everyone has the chance in life to grow, learn from experiences either good or bad and become the best humans. Respect Boundaries.”
His loyal legion of 173,000 followers were quick to flock to the comments section, with one writing: “The legend him self! Xxx”.
A second said: “You are a terrific captain and advocate”, while a third added: “Amazing leadership and job captain.”
Meanwhile a fourth added: “Huge kudos to you and how you handled the situation, as well as production protecting her and even protecting Adam. Amazing response from all involved. Much respect!”
