TV star hoping for Strictly ‘curse’ romance as they eye up stint ahead of 2023 series

TOWIE legend Bobby Norris admitted he would “love” to take part on Strictly Come Dancing, and is on the look out for Mr Right on the show.

The TV personality first rose to fame on the ITVBe reality show back in 2012 where fans fell in love with his larger-than-life personality and his cheeky antics on set.

It’s fair to say he was an essential part of the long-running show which he took part on for more than a decade.

But after 24 seasons of the show, he decided to bid farewell to the cast and crew and carve out a career for himself away from the show.

Now, in an exclusive interview with Daily Star at a dog fur-iendly event at Romeo and Juliet’s café last week, the TV hunk confessed he has set his sights on landing a spot on the Strictly dancefloor next year.

He told us: “I love reality TV which is no surprise to anyone, and I love Strictly but I’m not the best dancer in the world.

“I can slut drop like no one else but whether you can sl*t drop on Strictly is another thing,” the reality star joked.

Bobby went on: “We’ve had Judi Love twerking but no one’s sl*t dropped yet so maybe I could bring the slut drop to the dancefloor.”

When asked who he would want to be coupled up with on the BBC One dance competition, he revealed the only person he would squeeze into Lycra for would be his pal and professional dancer Neil Jones.

He gushed: “I’ve always said to Neil (Jones), if I do Strictly, I’d dance with you – and I would, I’d dance with Neil – but I think this series starts in a few weeks, so I think I’ve missed the boat this year.

The influencer went on to share what he loves about the show, he confessed that it celebrates everything he loves about being camp.

Bobby continued: “I mean that’s what I love about Strictly, the outfits, the spray tan. I mean how camp is Strictly? It’s right up my street.”

He went on to hint that he wouldn’t mind falling victim to the rumoured romance curse which appears to fall to one celebrity each her.

The TV star teased: “Well I’m single so it wouldn’t be a curse for me, it’d be a Strictly blessing.”

Last Thursday (August 3), the Essex legend attended a dog fur-riendly photography exhibition at Romeo and Juliet’s café on North Hampstead.

The star-studded event celebrated the 30th anniversary of animal charity Mayhew which seeks homes for animals all over London.

Sherine Wheeler, Chief Executive at Mayhew, said: “The exhibition has been a delight – the portraits beautifully encapsulate the spirit of each featured dog and cat and underscore the importance of adopting rescue animals.
