Oasis star Bonehead has lashed out at a “racist” fan on social media.
The 58-year-old guitarist, real name Paul Arthurs, is a founding member of the Britpop band and was diagnosed with tonsil cancer last year but has since been given the all clear.
He logged into his X account on Saturday (August 12) to hit out at a fan who posted: “France let’s them set sail. Let them deal with it” in response to a Sky News report about the French authorities confirming a rescue operation is under way involving French ships, one helicopter and two British ships.

The musician wrote: “Do me a favour you shallow f***er. F**k off from following me, I don’t need your type you c**t” and was quickly backed by his fans who rushed to their keyboards to share their support.
One fan penned: “Top man!”
Another added: “Yes Bonehead.”
A third person said: “Love you Bonehead. My inspiration.”
While a fourth social media user wrote: “Man of the people @BoneheadsPage.”
It comes after Bonehead was reunited with Liam Gallagher on stage at his sold out gig at Koko London on Wednesday (August 9) night.
The gig was the first that that the two former Oasis co-stars shared a stage since Liam’s headlining sets at Reading and Leeds Festival in 2021.
The two friends were reunited on stage with Bonehead playing a number of songs including Morning Glory at an intimate gig at a jam-packed show that sold out in less than a minute.
Liam encouraged the crowd to show their support asking them to give a “big round of applause for Bonehead!”.
The duo raised the roof with a high-octane set that wowed the audience.
After the show, Bonehead, posting on social media his gratitude for a gig well done, said: “Phew. That was good”.
