New yacht show is ‘better’ and ‘more intense’ than Below Deck as cast talk ‘raunch’

The cast of Hot Yachts: Miami have promised the show is “more intense” and with “higher stakes” than its competitors like Below Deck and Selling Sunset.

The new reality show, streaming on Paramount+, sees some of the hottest yacht brokers in the world go head-to-head to secure the best deals on the most expensive boats.

And for broker Katya Hall, the show is “fundamentally different” to anything that’s been done before. Hot Yachts has totally broken the mould.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star, she spilled: “Below Deck, yes, is set within the same industry, but it covers a completely different world among the crew versus yacht brokers.

Hot Yachts: Miami is set to be more explosive than Below Deck

“[Hot Yachts] is more business-oriented, obviously, with brokers, and the stakes are very high in what we do on a day to day basis. It’s more interesting and more exciting and more intense.

“As far as Selling Sunset, the yachting world is much more dynamic than the real estate world. Houses are attached to one space, yachts are moving around; we’re moving constantly around the world from yacht show to yacht show.

“Monaco to Greece to Barcelona, we don’t stop!” she enthused.

“We live on the plane and every day is different. You wake up in a different place every day – compared to real estate where you’re in the same town the entire time unless you get a new license, we get to do business literally around the world.”

For her co-star and apprentice, Vika Avramchuk, the show has even more to offer in terms of drama.

Vika explained: “We have to keep it a little bit PG, so don’t expect too much. We’re still on a streaming platform!

“I wouldn’t say it’s raunchy, but you can expect some flirting, you can expect some real emotions, some drama.

“I think it’s still kept at a level of respect and genuine feelings – even if it’s just a brief flirtation with someone. I still try and keep it classy!” she vowed.
