Elvis Presley’s guitar has been valued at a whopping $5 million (£3.9 million) and could be one of the most expensive instruments in the world.
The guitar – a Cherry Red Hagstrom Viking II – was used by Elvis himself throughout his career, most notably during his 1968 comeback special.
Presley had a deep love for the iconic red instrument and it was considered his good luck charm.

It was present at some of the biggest turning points in The King’s career, including on his album From Elvis in Memphis, his hit song Suspicious Minds and during his Las Vegas residency.
No wonder the valuation is so high and it could be set to make the most of any instrument ever at auction.
Currently Kurt Cobain’s Martin D-18E holds that record.
Back in 2020 it was auctioned with a starting estimate of $1 million (£810,000 in that year), but when on to sell for $6 million (£4.85 million).
Other big bucks instruments include Jimi Hendrix’s Fender Stratocaster, Eddie Van Halen’s Kramer and two of Kurt Cobain’s most iconic guitars.
Presley’s daughter Lisa Marie recently died and her sudden passing shocked the world.
The star’s cause of death caused by complications of a small bowel obstruction tied to previous bariatric surgery, which was discovered in her autopsy.
Segments of Lisa Marie’s bowel got trapped from scar tissue that formed after the surgery was completed.
It was also reported that Presley had a severe build up of acids in her blood.
The 54-year-old was found unresponsive in her home on January 12 2023 and was quickly rushed to hospital, but sadly she died just a few hours later.
Lisa Marie’s final public appearance happened just two days before her death as she attended the Golden Globe awards.
The star, who was a singer and songwriter much like her father, was buried next to her son Benjamin Keough, who sadly killed himself in 2020.
Presley was also known for her four very high profile marriages – Danny Keough, Michael Jackson, Nicholas Cage and Michael Lockwood.
