EastEnders’ Melissa Suffield praised as she proudly shows off ‘wobbly body’ in lingerie

Actress Melissa Suffield has stripped down to her lingerie once again on Instagram in a powerful body positivity post.

Suffield, known for her role in the iconic British soap opera EastEnders where she played Lucy Beale, has always been candid about body image and self-love and her recent Instagram post is no exception.

The 13 seconds long video features Suffield playfully wiggling her belly while donning alluring lingerie that accentuates her figure in all its glory.

The candid caption reads: “13 seconds of a body wobbling, to remind you that a wobbly body is totally NORMAL.

“We spend so long picking ourselves apart, and it feels so lonely, we start to think we’re the only ones who look a certain way,”

Commenting further to her 60k followers, she further added: “In fact, there’s SO many other bodies like ours – we’re actually pretty damn ordinary!

“So, this is 13 seconds to remind you just how normal your body is. And how WONDERFUL that is,” she declared.

She went on to encourage fans to share their own body image comments, asking: “What’s your favourite wobbly bit? Let’s hear ‘em! And then let’s CELEBRATE them.”

Melissa recently hit back at trolls who slammed her messaging.

In the comments, someone wrote: “It’s not clever to promote being overweight. All you are doing is encouraging laziness. Do more, eat less”.

But Melissa wasn’t going to let them off easily, she cleverly responded: “It’s not clever to promote being a d***, yet here you are”.

Fans came to her defense following the comment, with one writing: “Ignore them. You look fantastic”.

Another wrote: “Melissa makes me feel better about my jiggly bits”.

A third said: “Thank you for showing REAL bodies!! We all don’t have the money for surgery and some of us just appreciate our bodies birthing babies.”

Melissa is best known for having been a cast member on EastEnders having joined the BBC show as Lucy Beale in 2004 as the third actor to have played the role.

She remained on the show for six-years, bidding farewell to the role in 2010. The character was subsequently recast, before being killed off on the show a few years later in 2014.
