EastEnders’ Cindy and Kathy’s link to Christmas murder ‘sealed’ in showdown outfit hint

EastEnders viewers are convinced soap bosses have dropped a huge clue about the Christmas murder during the huge fight scene between Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) and Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins).

Fans already know a mystery male character will be killed off in upcoming scenes in a huge death whodunnit twist.

There are currently six female suspects in the frame, all of which are at the scene of the crime.

Over the past six months, the killer has been teased as well as the identity of the victim and possible motivites.

Speculation as gone into overdrive since the return of Cindy and Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt).

Cindy returned to Walford for the first time in 25 years this week and while she was thought to be dead by residents, she managed to interrupt her daughter Anna Knight’s (Mollie Rainford) 21st birthday party.

Before she learned her ex George Knight (Colin Salmon) was now running the Vic, Cindy had an epic showdown with mother-in-law Kathy.

During the explosive scene, fans noticed Kathy was wearing purple, a similar colour she wore in the flashforward video.

One fan penned: “Kathy wearing purple in this has completely thrown me off though.”

Another added: Kathy’s wearing purple again.”

Others have suggested that Ian could be the victim.

“Make Ian the Christmas Day dead body and Cindy the seventh woman. (Since everyone is convinced there is a seventh.),” a third person wrote.

Monday’s (August 28) episode ended with Cindy and George coming face-to-face for the first time since 2014.

George has been teased to be a possible victim and he currently lives in the Vic so this could it back viewers’ theory that there’ a seventh suspect yet to be revealed, and that that person is Cindy?
