Comic Paul Chuckle couldn’t hold back his laughter as a supporter celebrating his 30th birthday requested to have his autograph inked onto their buttocks during their holiday in Benidorm.
The up-for-a-laugh comedian, 75, shared a picture on Instagram and X (formerly known as Twitter) of a fan proudly showing off his tattoo bearing Paul’s signature, as he admitted that any bizarre occurrence of the like could only occur in Benidorm.
Paul, smiling, posed in a selfie with the admirer’s left cheek on full display, in what appeared to be a restaurant in the seaside Spanish resort.

The Rotherham native captioned the post, which he published on Wednesday (August 30): “Well it could only happen in Benidorm…
“Happy 30th birthday mate and enjoy the rest of your holiday,” along with a smiley face wearing sunglasses emoji.
Fans rushed to comment on Paul’s hilarious post, as one wrote: “It’s a shame he didn’t tattoo his stomach, coz then it would’ve been ‘tummy to you’.”
Another person wrote: “Love how Paul was entertaining us as kids and now continuing to entertain us as adults!”
“That’s a cracking tattoo,” somebody else commented, along with a laughing crying face emoji.
A separate individual wrote: “I would actually be buzzing to get this.”
An additional fan chimed in: “The chuckle brothers and Mr bean is comedy gold especially for 90s kids.”
Paul Chuckle was one half of the iconic The Chuckle Brothers comedy act, which included Paul’s late brother, Barry.
The funny brothers gained fame through their BBC kids’ show ChuckleVision, which ran from 1987 until 2009.
Commemorating its 21st season, Paul and Barry embarked on a 2010 stage tour named An Audience with the Chuckle Brothers.
The humour of the Chuckle Brothers typically originated from physical comedy, visual jokes, and clever language play.
They were notably recognised for catchphrases like “To me, to you!” and “Oh dear, oh dear!”
Nowadays, Paul sells Chuckle Brothers memorabilia on Etsy and often makes appearances on various TV shows.
The cheery comic still works in entertainment, with one of his latest gigs announced in this year’s lineup of the pantomime, Peter Pan, at the New Victoria Theatre Woking.
