Rylan Clark has said he is “praying for a successful surgery” after his mum was rushed in after she took “quite a bad fall” on holiday with him.
The Celebrity Gogglebox star has been forced to pull out of his BBC Radio 2 show as well to focus on his mum Linda’s recovery.
He released a statement on Instagram which his friends and fans instantly replied to with their well wishes.

It read: “So unfortunately I took my mum away on her first holiday in a good few years and sadly she’s had quite a bad fall, resulting in her having to have surgery out here.
“She’s not in the best health with her other conditions and this has made it more complicated.
“My priority at the moment is my mum.”
He went on: “Cheers Scott for covering me at Radio 2 and thanks to all the people out here that have sent their well wishes.
“Praying for a successful surgery and a quick recovery.
“Will update you on mummy Linda as and when I can x.”
The two have become a beloved mother and son duo after starring on Celebrity Gogglebox together, so naturally many people were concerned for Linda.
Vicky Pattison said: “Sending you and your mam so much love babe.”
Stacey Solomon said: “Aw hope Linda’s ok! If you need anything you know where I am!”
Gogglebox star George Baggs said: “Sending love mate.”
Strictly Come Dancing’s Johannes Radebe said: “Sending love darling xx.”
Rylan normally hosts on Radio 2 on a Saturday, but this weekend his pal Scott Mills will be presenting in his place.
Former Big Brother star Rylan has previously opened up about his mum’s various health battles – and revealed he has cameras set up around her home so he can keep an eye on her when he’s away.
She has a “severe” case of Chrohn’s, which affects the digestive system, and has had to have multiple operations because of it.
Rylan also revealed in 2021 that Linda had been diagnosed with skin cancer – but thankfully it wasn’t life-threatening.
