Maura Higgins has taken to social media to address rumours of a bust-up with fellow Love Island star Faye Winter at the National Television Awards.
It was reported that the bombshells got into heated confrontation backstage at the prestigious event on Tuesday (September 5) night.
However, Maura, 32, has since set the record straight and refuted these claims, with Faye also dismissing any suggestion of a boozy clash.

Maura, flaunting a stunning gown that showcased her stunning physique, voiced her thoughts on Instagram, sharing a screenshot of a news article about the alleged altercation with Faye.
In her caption, she quipped, “Borrrringgg!!!! Can’t have a passionate conversation without people videoing and press trying to turn women against one another….ILY@faye_winter mo drama here love.”

The video in question depicted Maura and Faye engaging in an exchange, during which Maura reportedly exclaimed: “Don’t you point your finger at me!”
However, eager to demonstrate solidarity, 28-year-old Faye also responded to the allegations in the comments section, humorously stating: “I mean, she calls me a silly cow most days, and she ain’t wrong. And I can confirm no designer shoes were disrespected in the conversation.”

According to The Sun, a friend of the pair stepped in to mediate as they overheard them quarreling, saying: “Girls, girls. Why are you fighting? This has been going on for an hour now. Stop it, stop it.”
The dispute reportedly unfolded at the bar in a backstage area of the awards ceremony.
An eyewitness recounted: “Maura looked furious with Faye – the pair were arguing quite loudly and in front of a lot of people. It was quite embarrassing, and they were at it for ages.”

Another source disclosed: “‘Maura and Faye looked a bit worse for wear and were rowing for most of the evening. They seemed to be really p***** off at each other.”

At the time, Chris, who was dating former Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson, acknowledged his actions and posted a message on his social media platform the following day.
In a heartfelt apology, he expressed: “After coming out of our hotel, a particular paparazzi decided to repeatedly call me a name I wouldn’t call my worst enemy and physically try and start an altercation. As everyone can see, I retaliated back badly to this – which I regret.”
