‘I visited celeb hotspot Bunga Bunga and I can see why Margot Robbie loves it’

When I heard about Bunga Bunga, the celebrity hotspot in London, I knew I wanted to visit it to see what all the fuss is about.

The Covent Garden restaurant and bar is hugely popular with celebrities, ranging from Ekin-Su Culculoglu and her boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti who took part in the restaurant’s Pizza Making night to Ellie Goulding who visited on a Thursday night for dinner and a show.

Margot Robbie even ventured to the original, no longer open, Bunga Bunga Battersea for her birthday.

The A-lister previously described the bar as “a wicked karaoke bar” after swooning over her nights out in London for her 24th birthday.

Given that all the celebs loved the venue I decided to give it a whirl and booked the Friday dinner and show – and it wasn’t a move that I regretted.

The whole evening was a rollercoaster from the delicious cocktails to the spectacular show it certainly is a hidden gem.

The energetic waitstaff at this bar really showed how much they loved their visitors and they smiled from ear to ear the whole time that they were serving you.

The cocktails were sublime (nice and strong) and the four-course meal was delicious with the pizza stealing the show as it allowed you to try lots of new flavours.

However, the true highlight was the entertainment from sword eaters to hoop dancers you won’t be disappointed.

My favorite part was when the entertainment pulled my sister Cordelia up for a best-dressed competition and she had to strut her stuff on the catwalk.

She was wearing a white silk dress and was up against two other people who threw themselves into the competition as much as she did.

Sadly she didn’t win as one of the performers ran on stage wearing a horse head but she was given a free cocktail for getting into the spirit.

After all the excitement we couldn’t stop laughing and sat down to enjoy the rest of the show which featured some amazing singers.
To add to the fabulous evening after the entertainment everyone could get up and enjoy a bit of karaoke, which was so much fun.
Overall we had a truly fantastic evening and I would recommend Bunga Bunga to anyone who is looking for a really fun night out.
