21-year-old terror suspect Khalife, who was caught and arrested on Saturday (September 9), had been the subject of a nation-wide manhunt at the time.

But before Austin and expert Danny Shaw started chatting about the case, the presenter accidentally confused his name and called him “daddy”.

But Austin put his foot in it when he continued: “Good evening, daddy,” before swiftly correcting himself, saying: “Danny,”.

He then added: “Thank you for being with us,” before moving on with the segment like a professional.

The host managed to brush over his mistake and neither men addressed the slip-up during the segment, but viewers couldn’t help giggling about it on social media.
