“Everybody that loves me… my family, my friends, they’re all really happy for me.

“They’re all really excited. They know Strictly is something I’ll love to do. Everyone is just buzzing for me. That makes me happy.”

Bobby’s protective dad Jeff, 44, has been on TV for years as a presenter and he’s given him his backing to go into showbiz.

He said: “My dad trusts me. I take things in my stride.”

Jade became one of the most popular stars in reality TV history when she shot to fame on Big Brother in 2002.

But Bobby insists he isn’t following in his mum’s footsteps when it comes to his career.

He said: “I wouldn’t say Strictly is the same kind of reality TV. I’m learning a skill.”

But he admits he’s feeling the nerves ahead of his first dance.

He said: “Live TV is exciting. But it’s a little bit daunting.

“When it’s the first live show, I’ll feel excited and nervous. I’ll feel all the emotions, I’m sure.”
