TV favourite Alison Hammond has revealed she’s been happy to “escape” amid the drama that’s going on at This Morning.
The presenter, 48, is a regular on the ITV show, but for the past week, she’s been missing from TV screens.
Instead, Alison has been enjoying a break away away a “party house” just outside of Bristol.

Taking to her Instagram on Wednesday (September 13) the national treasure shared a slew of snaps from her break, as the “chilled” holiday comes to an end.
“Had a lovely couple of days in the best party house ever. No parties for me though, just a lovely chilled time,” she wrote on her Instagram.
Alison then showed off her hot tub as well as a gorgeous garden space, before uploading a clip of her on the beach.
With her back to the camera, Alison looked in her element as she held her arms out with the sea waves lapping at her feet.
The Brummie beauty also shared a snap of her at the beach on her Instagram account, and captioned the post: “Escape!”
Alison is gearing up for her debut on The Great British Bake Off which will be on TV screens in just a matter of days.
Judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith are back to critique the latest batch of baked delights, while Alison will be joined by returning co-host Noel Fielding.
And fans don’t have to wait long to feast on the brand new series, with bosses confirming it will begin on Tuesday 26th September at 8pm.
Prue also revealed the news on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Wednesday (September 13).
She said: “The Bake Off team is back on Tuesday 26th September at 8pm. Join us in the tent for lots of laughter.”
It comes after Alison has explained her emotional reaction to Phillip Schofield on This Morning after he left ITV.
Phillip left This Morning and ITV back in May after admitting to an affair with a younger male colleague while still married to his wife.

The ITV star continued: “She was very with her bible. She used to read her bible every single night and would go to church every week.”
