It follows criticism of the former glamour model, whose mum Amy suffers from lung condition idopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and has previously undergone transplant treatment.
Katie explained: “I am going to stop it because I don’t know why I do it. It’s this new social thing where everyone vapes.
“I don’t normally [like] be a follower, I am usually a leader. Do you know what it is, they smell nice.
“I like the way it just comes out, if you take it in and swirl your tongue around you really get the taste.”
Last month Katie was branded “irresponsible” by Instagram users after she was seen vaping on camera in a previous episode of her show.
Her followers said not only could it affect her mum, but it could also encourage impressionable youngsters to embark on the habit too.
But Katie has hit back, adding: “Sorry everyone if I have insulted you by vaping, you know my tooth came out… I swear it is the vape because I put it here, it’s on the tooth that came out.
“So I wonder if that is what made my tooth fall out.”
Katie has had a number of issues with her “Turkey teeth” over the years.

A few years before her Turkey trip, Katie’s mouth was left full of ulcers after she had temporary veneers put in as part of a huge teeth transformation.
While undergoing that particular procedure Katie confessed that it was the first cosmetic surgery she actually needed – after breaking her teeth in a childhood skateboarding accident.
