As fans tuned in for the primetime programme, the former Corrie star introduced contestants Ian, Casey, Nicola and Wayne before they battled it out to take home the all-important cash prize.

This week the quartet were up against The Beast, also known as Mark who made sure to bring his A-game against the wise quizzers.

However, when it was Nicola’s turn, things took an awkward turn.

“My idol is Sporty Spice, I’m a big Spice Girls fan,” Nicola told Bradley.

The player left Bradley squirming

The host replied: “Have you met her?” to which she said: “Yes, It’s my mission to meet all five, I’ve done two so far.”

Brad quizzed “Which ones have you done?”

Nicola said: “Both the Mel’s, Mel C & Mel B,” and Brad asked: “And were they lovely?”

The player explained: “I say I met Mel B, I kind of got a bit overwhelmed when I spotted her on the Tube and just shot of shouted in her face that I loved her.

Brad didn’t seem too impressed

“And then I got off the tube and really wished it had gone differently,” she said, while giggling.

But it seems Brad was not impressed at he reaction and didn’t know where to look – biting his lip while trying to move swiftly on.

Despite a tense head-to-head Nicola bagged £2,000 and a spot in the final.

The first two players had already been booted from the show – so the stakes were high for Wayne as he took on The Beast.

During his tense round, he was playing for £4,000 – but unfortunately for Wayne he was caught by Mark, also known as the Beast.

This left Nicola all by herself in the final round, and playing for her £2,000 she only managed to get five correct.

As expected, The Beast came up triumphs and caught up Nicola with 1:40 remaining.
