Angela Rippon has shared her anger and frustration as she prepares for her Strictly Come Dancing debut this coming weekend.
The former newsreader and Rip Off Britain star is already breaking records for the BBC competitive dance show, being the oldest star to compete in the history of the show.
But despite her illustrious career of presenting the likes of Eurovision and the precursor to Strictly itself, Come Dancing, the 78-year-old is determined to give herself a challenge.

And it seems like she is being pushed to her limits already, as her professional partner Kai Widdrington shared an update to his Instagram story.
Kai shared a clip of the pair training, in a first look as to what the couple could be dancing in the first live show of the series this Saturday (September 23).
But Widdrington was keeping his leaps sealed on what the twosome will be taking to the dancefloor with, leaving loyal fans guessing.
Despite the pair looking strong in the video shared on Monday (September 18), it was clear Angela had her frustrations.
The Dancing on Ice star confessed in the recording: “I’m exhausted. There are bits of me aching that I didn’t know I had”.
She went on to add that she was “enjoying doing it and I’m fine with the bits that I get right.
“But I get very angry with myself when I absolutely muck it up and do it wrong,” she concluded.
Angela is one of the favourites to come out on top of the BBC show, with bookies pegging her at 9/1 to win the glitterball trophy.
Rippon has already won herself a fanbase after appearing on the launch show of the 2023 series of the show.
The pre-recorded show was broadcast on Saturday (September 16) and lasted two hours to focus on the new couples going into the programme.
When Angela and Kai were announced to be working together, there was delight for those watching at home as well as Angela herself.
