Sharon Osbourne says it’s ‘time to stop’ and got ‘too thin’ after weight loss

Sharon Osbourne said she “didn’t want to get this thin” after losing a lot of weight after using a US drug.

She appeared alongside her family on Piers Morgan Uncensored on TalkTV and discussed various aspects of their family life, and one topic that came up was her weight. Piers had been asking about Ozzy Osbourne’s wellbeing, but added that he hadn’t quite got around to Sharon just yet.

He directed his questions towards her and said: “Sharon I didn’t ask you about your health,” adding that she’s been on a drug, but has since come off, asking: “What was it like? did it work? Why did you stop?”

Sharon explained to him that you “can’t stay on it forever”, and added that she’s lost 42lb while being on it, adding that it’s “enough”. Ozzy had also been telling Sharon she “looks like Mrs Reagan” all the time.

She added: “It’s time to just stop. I didn’t actually want to go this thin, it just happened. I’ll probably put it all on again soon.” Piers asked what the drug was like and said when he visited the US it was flooded with adverts for it.

The TV personality told him she felt nauseous and really thirsty while he appetite was supressed. She added: “I keep saying you have to keep it away from younger people. It’s not right.”

She previously explained on UK’s The Talk in May that she was feeling very sick from a weight loss drug, but at the time didn’t explain which one it was. The drug is typically used to treat type 2 diabetes.

Elsewhere on Piers’ show, he asked Ozzy how his health was getting on, with the rocker saying: “I finally had my last procedure two days ago. I can’t believe I’ve come to the end of it. The main thing is over now, I’m done with surgery.”

He added: “It’s been five years of absolute hell for me and the family. My family have been so supportive, I couldn’t have done it without them. I have Parkinson’s, but I never think about it.”

Ozzy’s son Jack explained most of his recent struggles are related to different health problems including his fall in 2019, as opposed to Parkinson’s.
