Coronation Street icon Jenny Connor, played by Sally Ann Matthews, has been through a tough time on the cobbles recently as the Rovers Return is going through an overhaul.
She and husband Johnny Connor took control of the pub and turned it back into a success before his tragic death.
However, Jenny has since been forced to close the doors of the pub after Waterford confirmed the pub would be needing a big refurbishment.

The workers at the pub, including Jenny, have seen their contracts terminated as fans have been left devastated by the turn of events.
A snap was shared to social media after the latest episode, with the caption: “The end of an era. Goodbye to the Rovers as we know it.”
Fans quickly rushed to the picture to share their upset, as one said: “No you can’t get rid of the Rovers. The Rovers is Corrie.”
Another added: “What? No!!! Not the Rovers.”
Meanwhile, Jenny is in serious danger as her romance with serial killer is about to go to the next level, as the businessman has persuaded her to go to Thailand.
However, fans know that he is actually desperate to escape the cobbles as the doors are closing in on him and his multiple murders are about to be exposed.
Fans are now fearing for show legend Rita Tanner, as she has let the couple move in with her, as they think she could be Stephen’s next victim.
However, it looks like Rita could be safe for now, as she has extended her contract for another year, but that doesn’t stop soap icon Barbara Knox from worrying about her job.
Sally told TV Times Magazine: “She’s a real pro. Every year, she thinks she’s not going to get another contract. I’m like, ‘Seriously, Barbara?’
“If she ever forgets a line, which is very rare, she won’t sleep that night – she’s terrible. I tell her off all the time. Not many people can!”
Corrie airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV.
