Emmerdale has been hit by the cost-of-living crisis as fans were baffled over drinks prices.
During Monday’s (October 2) of the ITV soap, Moira and Nate headed to The Woolpack for a drink as they discussed the return of Cain and Caleb following their mystery road trip. As Nate went to pay for two pints, Gail informed them that the drinks would cost £15.20, leading Moira to turn her nose up at the shocking price.
And it wasn’t just Moira who noticed the stellar number, with fans heading straight to social media to share their shock. One person wrote: “You wouldn’t even pay £7.60 per Pint in London!! Lol # Emmerdale.”

Echoing this, another fan wrote: “£15.20 for 2 pints in emmerdale! I hate paying more than £3.50 for a pint!” While a sixth exclaimed: “You kidding? £15.20 for 2 PINTS?!! #TheWoolpack is a Rip Off!”
Later in the episode, Chas headed to The Hop for a drink as she tried to cope with the anniversary of her daughter, Grace’s death. Unbeknownst to Chas, she was joined by Harry, the man who recently attacked her brother, Caleb.
Introducing himself as Simon, he offered to join Chas in having a drink. At the till, he ordered a glass of wine and a scotch, which Victoria revealed would be a total of £13.50.
