‘Talented’ Louis Tomlinson could be set for collaboration with indie chart-toppers

Chart-topping indie stars bonded with “down-to-earth” Louis Tomlinson – and a collab is on the cards.

The Wigan favourites are currently supporting the former 1D star across Europe and they’ve been pleasantly surprised at the former pin-up’s indie credentials. Frontman Alex Moore told me: “It’s been a mad experience, it’s been very good.

“He’s a really nice fella to be fair, he’s not up himself. He’s a very down-to-earth fella actually, I think he’s really nice. He has loads of tunes as well, he’s done really well for himself.”

Now Alex is keen to see Louis in action in the studio: “He’s very talented. I’d love to work with Louis.” Seems the fans Louis attracts are just as special too: “The level of how supportive his fans are of support bands has been great, there’s a full-blown community and it’s been quite nice to see.”

The Lathums have just released new tune, Thoughts Of A Child – their first song since topping the charts in March with their second album. And more new music could be imminent: “You can never count us out in terms of lots of new music,” Alex said.

“My mind wouldn’t allow me to stop, I’d be walking up the walls if I didn’t release any music, it’s coming in good time. We have always got something to look forward to, there’s no slowing down.”
