Big Brother fans were divided as Kerry fought back tears following tense argument with Farida over this week’s shopping task.
During Wednesday’s visit to the famous ITV house, fans caught up with the residents as they adjusted to life in the luxury home. At the start of the home, the housemates were stripped of all their food and luxuries before they were informed that they had all become employees of Big Bros Ltd.
ITV producers then appointed Yinrun, Henry and Nocky to be the ‘big wigs’ who got to enjoy the finer things in life including luxuries lunches and golfing retreats. The trio were then tasked with appointing the middle managers which they gave to Farida, Zak, Kerry, Jordan and Matty.

That meant that Tom, Hallie, Trish, Chanelle, Dylan, Paul and Olivia were given the worker bee roles. The team had tasked the middle managers with assigning people to make their beverages, deliver them their lunches and keep the business running.
Meanwhile, the rest of the housemates were forced to spend hours organising paper clips into colour order. It didn’t take long before tensions started rising in the house, with Farida quick to snap at her colleague Kerry in a group meeting.
It was at this point that the NHS worker decided to take a break from the meeting as she rushed off to the shared bedroom where she confided in Hallie about their fierce argument. Hallie wastes no time in giving the 40-year-old a huge hug and reassures her saying: “I’m always here for a cuddle if you’re needing one.”
Kerry replied: “I’m just so cross with myself because I can’t shut up. We were just talking and then Zak said to me, ‘Tomorrow could you be the middle management supervisor? Because I think it’ll [the feedback] come across better from you’.
“So I said, ‘Yeah, of course I will’. Anyway, when he disappeared, she just said, ‘Well, why have you been asked to do that job?'” Hallie suggested: “I just feel like she wants to be in control, that’s what it is,” as she comforted her friend on the bed.
Kerry insisted: “I said, ‘Well I don’t mind, you do it,’ and she said, ‘No, I don’t want to do it but there’s five of us in this middle management, so why’s it you?'” Towards the end of the episode, Kerry attempted to build a bridge between the two when she suggested an idea to bring the work force together.
She suggested that the managers offer two of the worker bee’s the opportunity to pick what goes on the shopping list this week because they had to do all the hard work while they supervised. While Zak initially approved of the idea, Farida was quick to shut it down, insisting that she wanted a hand in the decision making.
She explained: “I wanted to make sure all the meat was Halal, I wanted to make sure we included things like lentils for Matty.” Kerry countered: “I just think it’s going to be hard if there’s too many people trying to make the decision.”

After listening to both sides and neither agreeing with the other’s opinion, Zak offered an alternative idea. He suggested that the entire house gather around the kitchen table where everyone can put one item forward that they would like adding to the list.
Fortunately, the trio agreed to his suggestion and put the matter to bed, but it wasn’t long before Farida returned to the Diary Room to share her frustrations with the housemates. What she didn’t know was that Yinrun, Henry and Nocky had made a decision to demote Farida after listening to their employee’s complaints about her poor work ethic during the task.
Fans will have to stay tuned to see how Farida will respond the the change in position tomorrow night.
Big Brother airs on weekdays on ITV2 from 9pm or stream it live on ITVX.
