It comes after fans accused Kerry of “copying” former Celebrity Big Brother housemate Gemma Collins after Thurday’s (October 12) episode.. During her time in the house, the GC was involved in arguments, threatened to quit the show on numerous occasions and had plenty of meltdowns and fans were left taking a double watching the latest episode as Kerry was left ranting.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: “When Kerry was in the store room I did think she was/might be trying to be another version of Gemma Collins when she was in the house.” Another added: “You can tell Kerry watched the best bits of Gemma Collins and Nikki Grahame before going in and decided to try copy them.”

A third person said: “Kerry is trying her hardest to be the next Gemma Collins.” Someone else said: “Kerry, you can be angry and not shout and swear.. she’s so dramatic and putting it on… she’s trying so hard to be Gemma but no one can be the original GC.”

However, other fans are loving watching Kerry in the house. One social media user wrote: “Kerry is literally the love of my life I can’t.” Another added: “I love Kerry.” A third person typed: “Kerry is my winner so far. Absolutely sent me when she said about the food being “budgie seed and dust cheese”

Kerry previously admitted she’s been a lover of Big Brother for years but admitted it has always felt “unachievable” for her due to her multiple sclerosis and being in a wheelchair. When she saw the show was making a comeback and “searching for real people from all walks of life”, she knew it was her time to shine.

Before going into the house, Kerry said that she’s really looking forward to “meeting new people”. She said: “I’m quite plugged in and I’ve got quite a bit of emotional intelligence so I think I’ll know if someone is having rubbish day and we’ll have a chat.”
