Stacey Solomon is poised to make a stunning return to Loose Women 10 months after her last appearance on the ITV daytime show.
Previously it had been reported that the 34-year old husband of Joe Swash was quitting the programme in order to “spend more time with her children”. In what appeared to be a “huge blow” for the broadcaster’s bosses, it was believed the mum-of-five was also planning on using her free time to focus on her own projects.
Following the success of her BBC upcycling show, Sort Your Life Out, sources claimed the former X Factor contestant had “outgrown” her role with the Loose ladies and that being on the panel was “no longer right”.

However, an insider told the Mirror this week that she will “soon” be back with rumours of her permanent departure “categorically untrue”.
A Loose Women spokesperson told the same publication: “These claims are not true. We are looking forward to welcoming Stacey back onto the show soon.” Stacey first starred on the show in 2016, but her appearances since 2021 have proven somewhat sporadic.
And her future was seemingly thrown up in the air earlier this year after another source told Woman’s Own: “She’s outgrown the show. It’s no longer right for Stacey. Loose Women takes up a lot of her time. If she were to leave, it would free her time up a little, especially if she has to be away for longer periods of time with her own shows.”
Following her last appearance on the panel of four in December, Stacey insisted on ITV’s Lorraine that she was still part of the line-up despite her slots being few and far between. “Again, I’m just grateful to be on there,” she admitted at the time.
“When I was on X Factor 14 years ago… I never even thought I’d be on a show like this never mind have opportunities like Sort Your Life Out and Loose Women. So every time I get to do something like that I’m genuinely like ‘thank goodness, this is amazing!’. You’ve just got to keep enjoying it because you never know when it’ll be gone and when those things aren’t going to be there.”

Last month, meanwhile, Stacey confirmed her marriage to former EastEnders star Joe had entered its “non-romantic” phase as she dismissed the likelihood of becoming a mum for the sixth time. She told OK! Magazine: “I think me and Joe are in our non-romantic era. It is important just to get time for us, but we’re at that stage in our life where that’s not really possible.
“We recently went to a friend’s wedding and had a night together, which was really lovely, but outside of that it’s once or twice a year that happens.” And on the prospect of more kids, she declared: “We don’t want any more – we cannot cope with it.”
