ITV GMB host ‘wounded’ as guest fumes ‘bring back Ben Shephard’ after swipe on air

Good Morning Britain host Adil Ray didn’t know where to look after a guest demanded he was replaced with Ben Shephard live on-air.

The hit ITV show returned for another instalment on Friday (October 27) with Kate Garraway and Adil back at the helm. Joining the pair was Jacqui Smith and Iain Dale – but things soon room a rather awkward turn.

After their discussion of the NHS backlog came to an end, Adil told them: “Jackie and Iain thanks so much for joining us”. He then added: “And we never mentioned Aston Villa once.”

Iain fired back: “You had to ruin it didn’t you.” While Jacqui said: “Or their victory over West Ham last summer.”

The guest was quick to make a dig

While the hosts laughed, Iain then quipped: “Bring back Ben Shephard I say!” causing Adil’s face to drop. Kate then chimed in and said: “Oh dear.”

As Adil chuckled, Kate added “He’s wounded now. You’ve hurt his feelings.”

As viewers will know ITV favourite Ben usually hosts GMB every Thursday and Friday. This week though, Ben was missing and replaced by Adil.

Adil wasn’t impressed at the guests dig
