ITV Big Brother star to ‘rake in big bucks’ while co-star ‘returns to day job’ after show

A Big Brother housemate has been tipped to earn the big bucks after the show ends — but the same can’t be said for their co-star.

The iconic series returned to TV screens on ITV2 this year after its run on Channel 5 ended in 2018. Fronted by AJ Odudu and Will Best, the rebooted show has seen a batch of new housemates move into the famous house.

From several rule-breaks to saucy confessions, it’s fair to say the programme has delivered some iconic moments so far. What’s more, with less than three weeks left, things are only set to get more dramatic.

And while the winner will receive a £100,000, cash prize that’s not the only thing they will bag thanks to their Big Brother stint. Apparently, one housemate could even land a role on another reality show.

One of the 2023 housemates has been tipped for mega success

The likes of former housemates Alison Hammond, Josie Gibson and Brian Dowling have all had their careers kickstarted thanks to Big Brother. And the new 2023 series is said to be no different.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star, Dom Aldworth, Head of Brand Marketing at Slingo revealed who he reckons will be the most successful after the show finishes. He said: “As a fan favourite, Yinrun can expect to be offered various deals and opportunities once leaving the Big Brother house.”

Yinrun has become a firm favourite

Dom added: “Yinrun is arguably the frontrunner to win the series and despite saying she would move to a farm if she won the £100k cash prize, it is highly likely brands will want to sponsor her and will offer the customer service agent significant sums of money which could tempt her.”

But she’s not the only housemate that could be raking it on. As Dom reckons “somewhat more controversial figure” Olivia, will also score some “major success.”

Olivia could land a role on another reality show

He explained: “While Olivia may not be as universally loved as Yinrun, the drama she has brought to the show has ensured she has been across social media and TV bosses may see her as a great addition to different reality series.

The model and dancer is already represented by agencies, making her well-positioned to make significant career moves after the show.”

As for who could step away from the spotlight, Dom claims it’ll be Kerry. He said: “In comparison, Kerry has had a tough time with audiences and will likely return to her role in the NHS.

“In reality TV, there is a fine line between bringing the drama and being not well received. And unfortunately, Kerry has not been a fan favourite this season.”
