Strictly Come Dancing fans have teased that Shirley Ballas overdid the fake tan after she flashed her seriously bronzed legs on the results show.
The judge showed off her tanned pins as she sat alongside Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke discussing the week’s performances on the BBC ballroom show. And some viewers were so distracted by what seemed to be a beauty mishap that they struggled to focus on the dance chat.
The star, 63, was flaunting her trim figure in a short black dress that finished mid-thigh as she perched on the sofa. Her toned legs looked as if they’d been fake tanned, and were a darker shade than her face.

One person posted on X, which was formerly Twitter, that they thought the TV star had “overdone” her fake tan. “Strange over-tanned legs Shirley!” remarked someone else.
Another fan posted: “I am all in favour of fake tan but Shirley’s legs look just about the same colour as Motsi’s and the rest of her does not match. Not a good look.” “Why are Shirley’s legs a completely different colour to the rest of her?” wondered one person.
“Shirley has been using the gravy browning on her legs again,” joked someone else. One teased that “Shirley’s legs are the same colour as her hair”.
“Shirley’s legs are on an entirely different pantone card from the rest of her,” said one fan. Another baffled viewer asked: “What is going on with Shirley! ORANGE LEGS and whiter than white face.”
“Shirley has boloney legs again,” giggled someone else on X. However, another viewer pointed out that the TV star could actually have just been wearing tights.
This week’s results show saw Zara McDermott exit the competition. The Love Island star, who was paired with Graziano Di Prima on the dancefloor, was given her marching orders after going head to head with Adam Thomas and his pro partner Luba Mushtuk in the dreaded dance off.
