BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans spot ‘feud’ between two stars after on-air ‘snub’

Strictly Come Dancing fans think they’ve rumbled a possible feud between two contestants.

The results show on Sunday (October 29) saw Zara McDermott and Graziano Di Prima eliminated from the BBC ballroom following her skeleton-themed Charleston for Halloween Week, scoring just 25 points. The Love Island star lost the dance-off against Adam Thomas and Luba Mushtuk, who scored 32 points for their American Smooth.

But fans watching at home were distracted as they reckoned they’d spotted tension between Zara, 26, and Adam, 35. Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one wrote: “Not just me that saw Zara turn her back on Adam and Luba when they walked towards her during the final dance?!”

Another commented: “She also whispered something in Graziano’s ear. Regardless of how she feels Adam was better than her in the main dance and in the dance off it’s how the cookie crumbles.”

A third said they’d seen it said that Adam had snubbed Zara. “Absolutely. Seen someone else say somewhere that Adam wasn’t applauding Zara but Luba was,” they wrote.

Another penned: “Lol at Adam not clapping along for Zara while Luba does… I get the feeling Adam and Zara are not the best of friends backstage.”

Zara admitted she couldn’t believe her time was up in her exit speech. She said: “I have had the time of my life. Just to be here is incredible. Thank you to the judges and my amazing partner obviously. My fellow contestants are just incredible. It has been the most amazing experience. I can’t believe it’s over but I am going to be here in spirit every week supporting them.”

Graziano praised his partner’s work ethic as he added: “She has been great for me 8:00am till 21:00pm. Never stopping asking just for a half an hour break. She is literally what Strictly is all about. A real novice, coming in, putting all the hard job. You have such a good soul. You are so humble and I say thank you that I found a friend like you.
