Strictly Come Dancing dancer Vito was left red-faced after making an epic name blunder.
The glitzy BBC One show returned to screens on Sunday night (November 5) for its latest results show. After showing off their best moves on the night before, it was time for another couple to leave the dancing competition.
However, for Vito and celeb partner Ellie they made it through to next week. On Saturday night (November 4) they bagged a near-perfect score of 39 thanks to their American Smooth routine.

After learning they were thorough to the next week, the remains celebs headed upstairs to speak to Claudia. She quizzed him: “You’re called team aubergine, I’m nervous but tell me why.”
He replied: “So Tess,” before Ellie was forced to correct him and said: ”Claudia.” Realising his blunder, Vito burrowed himself in Ellie’s arms as his co-stars laughed along.
Claudia said: “No, no, I’ll take it!” She added: “I love it,” as Vito dropped the floor in embarrassment.
Vito later managed to get himself together. He then explained how their team name is called aubergine, because Ellie didn’t like them until he cooked her a big plate of them.

Unfortunately, Adam Thomas and Luba Mushtuk were placed in the bottom two following the public vote. They ultimately had to face off against Angela Rippon and Kai Widdrington.
The soap star pulled in 27 points from the judges on Saturday night for his performance. He also ended up at the bottom of the leaderboard. As he performed his second dance off of the series, Adam failed to win over the judges. Ultimately they made a unanimous decision to save Angela and Kai.
Luba was overcome with emotion speaking to the hosts, as tears filled up with her eyes. While Adam gushed about his time on the show too.
“Seven incredible weeks what a journey its been,” he told Tess. The Emmerdale actor added: “I thought I’d be leaving in week two and I’ve got this far.”
Fans of Strictly were devastated to see Adam go. Over on X, formerly known as Twitter, one person fumed: “Oh no Adam, was hoping he would be in longer.” A second penned: “Sad to see Adam go!”
