I’m A Celebrity hosts Ant & Dec took a brutal swipe at GB News and its presenter Nigel Farage just minutes into the launch show.
The iconic reality show made its return to TV screen on Sunday (November 19) for its brand-new series. Fronted by Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly, the Geordie duo welcomed a fresh batch of brave celebs into the Aussie jungle.
And one of those is GB News presenter and politician Nigel Farage. But just minutes into the new series airing, Ant and Dec took a savage swipe at Nigel and his channel, suggesting that barely anybody tunes in to watch.

“The man who’s got everyone talking, Nigel Farage,” Dec said. He added: “Now, Nigel is not just known for his controversial political career, he’s also got his own show on GB news.”
Dec went on: “Of course he won’t be presenting that show over the next three weeks, so we’d like to take this opportunity to apologise to all of GB News viewers.” Ant then stepped in and quipped: “Sorry Keith, Sorry Linda,” seeming to refer to the channel’s low viewership.
The pair’s dig didn’t go unnoticed from viewers watching the show at home. Over on X, formerly known as Twitter, one person said: “The lads taking the p**s out of Farage and GB news – hope this keeps up for rest of series, love it.”

Someone else chimed in and penned: “Less than 5 minutes in and @antanddec already have taken the p**s out of Sunderland and GB News. Love it!!” A third quipped: “Love Ant and Dec’s dig at GB News already.”
The launch show saw three campmates get dropped into the scorching hot Australian outback for the first time ever. Nigel, Nella Rose and Josie Gibson met for the first time and quickly find out they have to help out their fellow celebs by doing a set of challenges.

The former politician, 59, looked rather disgusted as he felt his way through the grim sludge during a task which he took on alongside fellow campmates. Meanwhile the other campmates, including EastEnders star Danielle Harold and First Dates star Fred were 2000 miles away having to do another task.
In a bid to win some stars, the celebs endured the dreaded plank challenge. Partnered up as a pair, Danielle and Fred had to straddle a pole positioned seriously high above the ground. Fred managed to grab his star and so did Danielle.
