Karol G risks wardrobe mishap going braless under sheer dress at Billboard Music Awards

Karol G turned heads as she hit the red carpet at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards in one of the wildest outfits of the night.

The Colombian singer, 32, left little to the imagination on Sunday as she showed off her bare chest in a transparent strapless mini-dress. The bizarre plastic material was moulded tightly to her body and featured ripples creating a wet look.

She also bared her behind as she displayed the chain detail at the back of the sheer dress. The star completed the outfit with a pair of nude heels and opted for a smoky eye and nude lip.

Her long platinum blonde locks matched her dress as she styled them in a wet look that cascaded over her shoulders. Karol took centre stage at the awards show as she kicked off the evening with a steamy performance of her hits Qlona, Labios Mordidos, and the unreleased track Ojos Ferrari.

She showed off her toned midriff as she changed into a pair of white sheer low-wasted trousers and a tiny white bikini top for the performance and took to a stage full of water. The singer was soon joined by a shirtless male dancer and the pair put on a racy performance as they writhed against each other while Karol sang.

At one point, the male dancer tipped her backwards until she was lying in the water and ran his hands down her body before dragging her through it. A whole team of matching shirtless males then took to the stage as they danced above her body and began splashing her with water as they circled her.

Karol left fans screaming as the men lifted her into the air while she continued singing. Later in the performance two female dancers also entered the stage and twerked vigorously in the water alongside Karol – before all three straddled male dancers.

Karol ended the performance alone as she laid back in the water and swayed her arms around. The singer, who was born in Medellín, Colombia, beat out Shakira to take home the Top Latin Female Artist award.

She also nabbed a second Billboard Music Award in the Latin Touring Artist category. Karol thanked her fans as she accepted the awards.

The singer told the crowd: “These awards mean the connection is there between all of you and me. I think you’re more than fans; you’re part of the team and the family.”

She added: “I always say awards are special because they’re an extra validation to what we do, but like I said before, to have your unconditional love, with or without music, with or without a tour, that will always be the best present ever and that’s what I hope will never fail or go away. I love you and thank you for being with me today and always.”
