I’m A Celebrity icon Nicola McLean has exposed a tell-tale sign that one campmate will steal the crown this evening.
The former glamour model appeared on the ITV reality show back in 2008 and narrowly missed out on competing in the celebrity cyclone in the last few days in camp. During her time on the show, she famously had a row with musician David Van Day and almost left the camp due to home sickness.
Now, the former Page 3 model has exclusively revealed one major sign which as to which contestant will be crowned the new King of the jungle. On Saturday night (December 9), the three finalists are Sam Thompson, Tony Bellew and Nigel Farage after Josie Gibson was booted from camp.

She teased: “Now we’re getting down to the final, this is when you know who actually wants to win. Because when you get down to picking who does the trials, that’s when you know who’s desperate to win.
“Because when the public are voting, you’ve got no choice. If you get voted, you have to do the trial. And the trial takes up most of the hour-long show.
“So if you’re not being voted by the public to do the trial, you miss out on a massive chink of airtime. If you’re not picked by the team to do Kiosk Keith’s trials, you miss out on a massive part of airtime.
“So unless you’re really good at making the storyline about you, there’s not a lot you can do. You can’t compete for airtime.”
She went on to reveal that one of her favourite campers of the series, Hollyoaks star Nick Pickard, fell victim to this during his three-week stint on the show. The mum-of-two went on: “That’s what happened to Nick.
“He wasn’t being voted for the trials because the public liked him, or he wasn’t deemed to be entertaining enough for the trials. He hasn’t done too many of the kiosk things and he hasn’t been in any of the storylines.
“So that’s why he’s not been given the airtime. But he couldn’t control that really which is why you need to really be doing the trials. The people that you see putting themselves forward, are the ones that are determined to win.”

When she was asked which finalists she believes will win the series tonight, the glamour model immediately gushed: “Sam Thompson to win, 100%. He’s a huge fan of the show and the way he’s showing up for neurodiverse people, I really just think he should win it.
“I honestly love him, he’s been so good. He’s always so lovely, he really deserves to win. There’s so many of them that deserve to win this year, but I think Sam just takes it.
“I think in any other year, all of them could have won, but this year it has to be Sam.”
