ITV Real Full Monty stars ‘struggled to keep clothes on’ as famous faces strip naked

The Real Full Monty: Jingle Balls star Nick Collier has revealed that some of his co-stars struggled to keep their clothes on while filming the ITV show.

Drag Race star Nick, 35, better known in drag as RuPaul Drag Race UK’s Ella Vaday will also be seen baring all for charity this week alongside a host of different celebrities in order to raise awareness of checking the body for cancer as part of the 2023 series.

Television presenter and documentary maker Julia Bradbur, former The Only Way Is Essex star Pete Wicks, and Dancing On Ice professional skater Vanessa Bauer are part of the star studded line-up for the upcoming show as well as rugby star Ben Cohen and Loose Women star Coleen Nolan.

Opening up about filming the special show, Nick said: “It was really, really emotional and everyone had a different story whether it was a child or a brother, a mother or themselves. We were always talking about it for the show to get our stories across so it was a bit therapeutic because you don’t always talk about these things because it can be so upsetting but through talking about it we’re educating people and it’s going to be empowering for anyone going through treatment to show the other side.”

“Some people it was hard to keep the clothes on them and were really up for it. I was probably at the other end which I think surprised people because you’d imagine ‘he’s body confident’ but I was probably the most nervous when we were doing naked shoot and getting naked at the end just because of the vulnerability.”

“It was a really lovely experience. A bit daunting going into a show where ultimately you have to strip down to nothing because in my career I’ve been an actor and I moved into drag so my job is always pretending to be somewhere else. It was daunting but I just embraced it and I had just had great time.

“I was honoured to be asked. My mum having been just finished her breast cancer treatment earlier this year and drag was such a massive part of going through her treatment. I’ve had so many message saying how much watching Drag Race helped them with their cancer treatments so to be able to merge the two, me being a drag artist talking about male and female cancer, I thought why not?”

“It’s such a great experience to not only put on a show but educate people because people forget males can get breast cancer too. Almost 400 people a year get breast cancer.”

Nick also recently joined thousands of Alzheimer’s Society fundraisers, including Loose Women’s Ruth Langsford, at one of the charity’s Memory Walk to help provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia because his nan was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s around five years ago.
