The Chase host Bradley Walsh has left fans stunned after making a shocking health confession.
The 63-year-old star returned to front Monday’s episode of the ITV show (December 11) as he welcomed four new players all vying to take home a cash prize. But it was player Liz’s turn that exposed a little-known fact abou the star after she was asked a question about the value of each scrabble tile based on their colour.
Bradley appeared confused by the question – as chaser Paul “the Sinnerman” Sinha had to explain that each tile has a colour that counts for a different score. A stunned Bradley then claimed he “understood” but admitted: “fans at home are probably thinking ‘what’s he talking about he must be really dim’ but no it’s my colour blindness.”

Fans took to social media to share their reaction to the shocking revelation. “Colour-blindness? That came right out of the green!” joked one fan.
“#thechase had no idea bradley was colour blind!,” penned another. A third took a slightly different approach, claiming he was using his condition to hide the fact that he didn’t know the answer: “no, you’re really dim colour blindness plays no role,” while a fourth piled on: “It’s not your colour blindness, Bradley.”

Liz managed to bring £4k back to the podium as her three team members all stumbled and were sent home by the sinnerman who was on top form. The American player, who is studying her PHD in York, was left in the final chase by herself where she impressed the chaser and host Bradley with a score on 10.
Though likely not enough to win, the pair heaped praise on her for landing such a respectable score by herself and with limited knowledge of British culture. Unfortunately it was an easy feat for Paul, who caught her with a massive one minute and one second remaining on the clock.

“Had Liz got other players to help her with, she would have got a good chance. But fair play to her on getting through to the final on her own. 10 is not bad and it’s tough being a single player,” said one fan. Another echoed: “Good job, Liz. You need Britain people to help with those England questions. Standalone would be rough.”
