EastEnders actress Lacey Turner, renowned for her portrayal of Stacey Slater, has offered up a major hint about the upcoming Christmas storyline that is poised to take a shocking turn.
During a special behind-the-scenes chat with her fellow cast members on the BBC Three program, “The Six: Revealed,” hosted by Joe Swash, Lacey Turner spilled the beans on what might transpire in Albert Square this Christmas. The six key characters in the spotlight were Denise (Diane Parish), Kathy (Gillian Taylforth), Linda (Kellie Bright), Sharon (Letitia Dean), Stacey (Lacey Turner), and Suki (Balvinder Sopal).
While discussing the tumultuous events of the year for Stacey, a revealing trailer was unveiled, shedding light on her encounters with Theo Hawthorne. While it’s clear that Theo Hawthorne won’t be the unfortunate victim of this Christmas mystery, it seems Stacey’s list of potential targets is far from empty.

Host Joe Swash alluded to her history, mentioning her involvement in the demise of Archie Mitchell. This character met his end at the hands of an unexpected weapon, the bust of Queen Victoria in The Queen Vic pub, with Stacey ultimately revealed as the perpetrator.
While defending her character’s actions in the Archie Mitchell case, Lacey Turner inadvertently hinted at the upcoming Christmas twist, saying: “You can’t murder someone accidentally – or was it an accident, we don’t know – in the same place twice. You can’t. I’m not having it.” Kellie Bright, who plays Linda, interjected swiftly, stating, “Anything can happen!”
Reflecting back to February, Lacey had shared her initial insights into the identity of the Christmas culprit. “When we first had the meeting about the storyline, I immediately thought it was someone who wasn’t in Albert Square yet.
“I don’t think it’s a character that is actually on the show at the moment, but the more time goes on, and the more the six of us have chatted away, I feel like it’s an accidental death. I don’t think it has been done on purpose, and I think that it’s more of a group effort rather than one sole person.
“and if it is one individual, then I think all of the women are covering for them. I think we all might know something we shouldn’t know and we’re all covering for each other, and maybe the person hasn’t been killed?”
The suspense continues to build as fans eagerly await the revelation of what’s in store for EastEnders this Christmas.
