Amanda Holden found herself in a physical altercation with The Grinch after he stormed the studio while she was live on-air.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge appeared stunned as the Christmas villain burst into the studio and began causing havoc – before stealing her seat and saying: “I have come to replace your judging seat on that talent show.”
He then grabbed a giant decorative candy cane and began playfully hitting the TV. Not one to miss an opportunity for fun the mum-of-two grabbed a similar decoration and began smashing the fictional green character – as he compared them to playing “gladiators”.

Amanda’s candy cane snapped in two as it made impact and havoc ensued inside the radio studio. The hilarious video was posted on the official Heart Instagram page, and captioned the clip: “The Grinch just stormed the Heart Breakfast studio!” Fans took to the comments in their droves to comment.
“You guys have way too much fun at work!” said one fan. “Very naughty”, penned a second. A third added: “Hilarious definitely, the Best video from today.”Amanda recently paid a sweet tribute to her husband Chris Hughes as they celebrate their 15th wedding anniversary. The presenter shared a snap of the loved-up pair with a sweet message to her two million followers.
Next to a black and white photo of the couple smiling nose to nose, Amanda wrote: “15 years ago today, I married my best friend. 20 years together. 2 Girls. An boy and we have made a beautiful life together!! ( having said everything above, we still bicker every day ).”
The BGT judge married the record producer on December 10, 2008 – five years after they first met in Los Angeles. They exchanged vows at St Margaret’s Church in Somerset, before moving to Babington House, to celebrate their evening reception.

The couple share daughters Lexi, 17, and 11-year-old Hollie. They also had son Theo together, who was sadly stillborn at seven months in January 2011. Previously discussing their marriage, Amanda told Hello! magazine: “Chris is very funny and errs on the side of lightness. We can make jokes out of any situation throughout the best and darkest times of our lives.
“He’s rubbish at romance, but he’s there for the solid things – such as keeping my car clean and making sure I relax.” Before her marriage to Chris, Amanda was married to game show presenter Les Dennis in 1995.
